As of yesterday (5-31-26) I was playing with my vampire save and after traveling from another sim home to collect a grave to the graveyard in Ravenwood, to finally traveling home, my sims skin turned completely pitch black. I don’t know what triggered this to happen so I thought I’d include my sims route just in case. The pitch black skin only affects his in-game model, as his image in the corner is still showing normal, and loading him into CAS has him looking normal.
From my understanding this happened with custom tattoos but, (1.) I thought this was already fixed and, (2.) my vampire sim doesn’t have a single custom tattoo on him. He does have a single upper back tattoo but it is the premade electric with words down the spine upper back tattoo from Get To Work. I’ve had that tattoo on him since the beginning with no problems ever and all of a sudden it happened. I was able to fix his skin and get it back to normal by simply removing his one tattoo, but I would like to put it back on and cannot because it makes the skin pitch black each attempt.
I am on PS5. All updates, basically all packs minus certain kits and no maker content.
