This happens sometimes, that npcs on the walkways just get stucked and run in circles. I know I can left-click and debug them, but I would rather have it fixed.
This example in the video is with no mods or cc all updates made on pc.

I’m having an issue in The Sims 4 that I wanted to share to see if anyone else has experienced it or knows of a fix.
Whenever my Sims walk across the bridge in Tartosa—specifically in the Terra Amorosa neighborhood—they start behaving strangely. Instead of crossing normally, they get stuck in a loop where they continuously walk in circles on the bridge and never actually reach their destination.
Details:
World: Tartosa
Neighborhood: Terra Amorosa
Location: The main bridge over the water
Issue: Sims route to cross the bridge but end up circling in place indefinitely
Reproducible: Yes, it happens every time I send a Sim to cross there
Mods/CC: I tested with all mods and CC removed, and it still occurs
This happens with the sims in my active household and all townies and I've noticed it happens in areas in the region that aren't on the actual bridge either. If anyone else is having this issue or has found a workaround (besides teleporting), I’d really appreciate hearing about it. Also, if the dev team sees this, I’d be glad to provide a save file if it helps track down what’s causing the routing failure.
Thanks in advance for any help!
My main played household lives on the Oakenstead lot in Willow Creek, and there's a spot on the walkway behind it where this happens very frequently. It's always the same spot, in the area with the trees behind the lot just where the path starts to slope upwards towards Cypress Terrace. If you have Seasons, in the fall one of the leaf piles spawns close to it. Since it's always the same spot that has NPC walkbys spinning in circles, it has to be something about this spot that makes them get stuck there specifically.
There are other spots in other neighbourhoods, but maybe they have something in common that cause this issue?
Same spinning on the spot issue occurring on the wisteria covered bridge in Henford near the creature keepers house and the lot 13 nettle Lane. Sims, foxes and rabbits all get stuck spinning in a circle on that specific bridge. I've also noticed that they all seem to drop down a little into the bridge, their feet clip into the bridge before the spinning begins.
I have noticed that happening when my sims go for a walk with their dogs. they start spinning in circles in the middle of the walk and the dog passes out in the meantime. resetting stops the action of walking the dog so thats a bit annoying. I have not seen it with sims just walking around without a dog
this also happens with my Vampire sims with vampiric run enabled or my Werewolf sims or dogs running into the void that I can't debug them, it happens just from being fast.
I've seen NPC's get stuck spinning in circles occasionally for a really long time. I just bless their hearts, shift+click>reset object (debug), and they go about their way.
Another good place to duplicate this is the big bridge in the northern part of Tartosa.
thats what I do but then they cancel the dog walk :( sometimes if I let them spin long enough they somehow get out of it again but then usually my dog passes out on the walk 😄
