Sims can't click on Sims in water (opposite woohoo preference)

When my sims are in bodies of water, such as the river in Mt. Komorebi, I can't click on them. Or rather, I click on them, and nothing happens. This is very annoying. I can't make my sims splash each...

Description:
When two Sims are swimming together in a pool or the ocean, it is not possible to click on the other Sim to open the interaction menu. Social interactions are completely unavailable.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Load a household
  2. Send two Sims into a pool or ocean
  3. Try clicking on the other Sim or your own Sim

Expected Result:
The interaction menu (social interactions) should appear.

Actual Result:
Nothing happens. No interaction menu appears when clicking on either the other Sim or the active/playable Sim.

Additional Notes:
Occurs consistently and prevents all social interaction while swimming.
