Sims Can't Woohoo because of (very) complicated relationship

could you try uploading them to the gallery and place them in a new save for testing purposes to see if the couple has the same issue ?

Is one of the Sims a special NPCs ? Some premade ones can't be woohooed.

The issue is not there in the new save, though I just moved them into a random lot to test. Should I make it the same lot?

Also one of the sims is Kaori Nishidake, I started the save when the sim who is married to her was a teen. She is now an adult and my sim is still a young adult. Kaori is a normal townie right?

The other sim my sim was dating before and who could be woohooed with was a gallery download that I edited a little. The townie families I tested also weren't having the same issue. 

Also in the original save I also tried moving out the affected couple and moving them back in but that hasn't worked. There is one more adult sim in the household who I got a romantic partner (not a premade townie but a sim I made in create a sim and they have the option to woohoo. 

Would you be willing to share your save with me ?

So after some testing, I found that it's the it's complicated rel bit that prevents them from woohooing.

I have no clue why that is tbh but I'll need to do some more testing with other Sims if adding that bit does the same for all Sims or if there's other factors.

EDIT: So it does seem that the rel bit doesn't let them woohoo but I wonder if it should have gone away once you leveled back up. Did you use any cheats to get them back up in their relationship ?

Could the complicated relationship thing be that Kaori asked my sim to prom once but I said no? 

I didn't use any cheats on their relationship. I did cheat two other sims' relationships but none with the members of the active household. 

I don't know all the details how you get it but it's possible. Also don't know how you can get rid of it other than using a mod.
