There are so many sims now that behave mischievously even though they don't have a single negative trait!!! I hate this so much because I know every interaction can't be perfect but it's so annoying ...

Sims constantly doing mischief

I came here to rant because this ish is ruining my enjoyment of the game today. The autonomous mischief interactions are constant, happening in conversations where it makes no sense for them to occur from Sims that have no traits or aspirations that relate to mischief. In one save I'm playing a teen who's dating Jeb Harris and in the middle of their suggestive conversation Jeb decides to monkey around and shove his girlfriend, an interaction I really hate. (I blame his goofball mom for giving him the mischief skill.) In another save my adult spellcaster is listening to her foodie/ambitious/family-oriented husband with zero mischief skill discuss his favorite recipes and then suddenly he's lying about his career. The worst part is that when a sim has a mischief interaction performed on them, they immediately perform a mischief interaction back - even if they dislike mischief. It gives them the mischief skill and once they have it they start sliding mischief interactions into every conversation forever. They'll destroy every relationship they have falling into mischief interaction feedback loops.
The only way to mitigate the issue is to keep them from ever developing the mischief skill. It's impossible to get rid of once they get it even with cheats or mods - the game continues to behave as if they have mischief skill if it's removed through either of those methods - so the only way to keep them from developing it is to exit the game without saving immediately after any autonomous mischief interaction occurs. It's gotten to a point that I'm saving all the time (any time a sim levels up a skill, achieves a goal milestone, an important life event happens) so that I can nope out of the game anytime someone decides to try scaring their spouse without losing too much progress. It's absolutely ridiculous. It's also ridiculous that this is marked 'needs info'. It's happening on console, PC, mods, no mods, etc. Just play for an hour it'll happen for you. Get this under control, EA.

I also don't get why it even an option to lie about your career to someone who would logically know what you do for a living (autonomously or not)? A stranger, sure, but your wife/son/best friend/mother-in-law... surely they know what you work with?

Seriously, I think the exact same thing any time someone uses that interaction or claim to be a criminal mastermind on a household or family member. Girl, your Dad knows you're not a criminal mastermind he watched you light the kitchen on fire trying to make eggs and toast ten minutes ago.
