Sims date ends due to 'too many mean or mischievous interactions'

Sorry for the delay in responding. I’ve had other dates with sims that didn’t have any issues regarding mischief interactions. It was just that one instance of the secret admirer date.

Don't know either really. Can you try a second time with a Sim that doesn't have this dislike ?

I'm not the OP, but I also just had a similar thing happen. I got a secret admirer phone call and accepted it. The sim came over and I created a date with mischievous interactions as one of the options. I hadn't performed any mischief interactions yet and there had been no negative social interactions. I invited him to a fake party and the date immediately ended with the "(Sim B) has left the date after receiving too many mean or mischievous interactions from (Sim A)." He wasn't turned off by anything relating to mischief, but I did check CAS and it does say he dislikes Rascals. It still seems a bit extreme for the date to immediately shut down after one interaction, but I don't know if that's working as intended or not. Oh, also, I'm in a new save file with no mods.

Did you get a message that they were unhappy or did they just leave the date and it failed ?

It might have been the Mischief interaction you chose. Trick With Hand Buzzer almost always gets a positive reaction but most of the other Mischief interactions get negative reactions at low Mischief skill, especially if you also have a low relationship.  Negative reactions are probably not what you want during a date, especially near the beginning of a date.
