Whenever I play with my sims, regardless of whether or not they like mischief, they will always do a random mischief action like scaring another sim or lying about their career and it will always be negative.

I was hoping that this bug would've been fixed by now, but it's still a problem. I can't find a forum post about the bug, and the link I've seen doesn't work for me.

I can't beleave this is still not fixed. I was about to white a new report because I thought no one had officially reported yet! This is one of the bugs that annoys me the most. I had to completely stop playing with goofballs and the mischief skill because it was just making my sims embarrassed all the time. I am using a mod that fixes it now and it made realize how I fun the mischief skill can be and how I missed it :(
I logged in to up-vote this because it's the closest match to a VERY old bug that used to drive me crazy: all mischief interactions fail if you don't have Get Famous.
I'm talking about 100% failure 100% of the time for ALL mischief interactions, even if you have 10 in the skill... which by the way is really hard to reach without cheats, when it's literally impossible to ever succeed at the skill you're practicing. I have to guess most simmers have Get Famous, because how else is this not a bigger problem for more people?
The good news is, when I say this bug USED to drive me crazy, it's because I found a mod that unofficially fixed it:

If the EA devs are actually serious about fixing bugs that have been around forever, I'd be glad to finally not need an external mod to fix this issue.
I've seen this across 4 different saves now. No matter how high the sims mischief skill is their Mischief socials basically ALWAYS fail, even if the target sim likes mischief.
I found some notes that this "fixes itself" with Get Famous installed, which makes sense. I've had Get Famous for years and never noticed this issue (in fact I always found it a little odd that mischief was so successful in general) but now I'm doing single pack playthroughs with everything but base game and 1 pack disabled and it suddenly started happening in every save.
No matter how high a sim's Mischief skill is, whether one or both sims involved like/have neutral feelings towards/dislike Mischief or how high their relationship is, every interaction in the 'Mischief' category will always fail.
I'm playing on PS4 and no packs but the Holiday Celebration Pack installed.
Every mischief interaction always ends or results in failure no matter what regardless of mischief level, and any sim always ends up embarrassed. It's been like this for a very good while and it's really annoying.
This bug has become really annoying. All my sims' relationships suffer, no matter how close they are. Children with their parents, romantic partners, best friends, etc.. every relationship is going down, AND for a really long time. I don't understand why Maxis has been ignoring this for so long.
Mischief interactions between Sims who both like mischief can now properly succeed. This was happening only with Get Famous installed and that has now been fixed.
