I am also experiencing this really badly on PS5. The family tree update helped a bit as my sims no longer flirt with the in-laws however they still flirt with their soon-to-be son in-law as well as random sims they've never met before. If it wasn't in front of their spouse/partner, and didn't increase the romance bar, it wouldn't be as annoying but it is constantly ruining my sims' relationships and also giving them the fear of being cheated on which I have to fix every time as well. The sim that is being cheated on also gets the immediate pop suggesting that I give them the jealous trait too. I've ignored this for months but it's just happening too often now and is really getting on my nerves, especially as I like to play with wholesome families.
I can't even allow my Sim family to stay in the same room, eat at the same table or play games together. I had to put televisions in each couple's bedroom because they can't spend time in the same room with other Sims. They flirt with guests and the maid. It's horrible!
