Sims excessively 'Grab a Drink' with 'Tea Magic Personal Brewer' after brewing

My sims will brew a pot of tea then proceed to drink cup after cup after cup, nonstop as well. I’ve stopped using the tea brewer. 

Yeah, I love using it, but it's frustrating to cancel the queue every time. Even with autonomy off.

It’s still bad, but if was far worse when the brewer made 8 cups of tea instead of 3 — I reckon this change might be connected to the Sim’s obsession with tea. 

I have same problem but now I just let the sim that made the tea pour all the drinks, then I select who's drinking and put the rest in the fridge for later.    If I have guests, I'll have the sim pour all the drinks not needed and put those in the fridge; then everyone "helps themselves" till it's all gone.  

I am also experiencing this issue. I rarely play with the tea brewer but decided to put one in my current house and if one of my sims makes a pot of tea, the whole household will get non-stop queuing for cups of tea until it is all gone.

This problem is so obnoxious I had to delete my brewer. There is no benefit it gives that is worth the frustration of all the cups sitting around and the clean up time. They will continually brew pot after pot. Same with the waffle maker, pizza oven and pressure cooker. So I do not use any of these items in my game because they are not worth the hassle.

I use the Tea pots in the game to better control the moodlets for work and I have done so for a while when playing the game but recently it's like the tea is taking over priority of everything, my sim stops cooking in order to grab a cup, even if they're hungry or there's already another full cup they grabbed and sat down earlier. It's to the point where having a tea pot is unbearable and gets in the way of the gameplay, especially if I am trying to get my sim ready before work by using the restroom, showering, and making sure needs are filled because my sim will fight me for control just to pour one more cup of tea. I have started to avoid timed events at my sims house because I just can't complete the tasks in time in order to earn more than silver for the event with the constant tea breaks. I would just do without the tea if it wasn't almost the only way to pretty much ensure a certain moodlet without having to spend a large or unknown amount of time on a task prior to needing it.

This happens to me all the time.  I use the teapot for moodlets when I'm skill building a sim and the action to grab another cup pops up in their queue before they're even done drinking the first one.  If I don't immediately have them empty the pot before I queue up whatever skill building activity I want them to do, they will continuously cancel the skill activity in order to grab another cup of tea.  I didn't even realize this was a bug because it's been happening for as long as I've been playing, thought it was just a tuning issue.  (Edited my comment because apparently I wrote about two separate issues.)
