Sims keep stopping/cancelling out their actions to do other things

My Sims will no longer perform actions unless I either instruct them to do so multiple times or keep the selected Sim selected until the action is completed since the update released on June 1, 2025 ...

Also having this issue. I'll tell my sim to start writing a book and they will for about 5 minutes before stopping to go chat with a roommate or something and I have to turn off automation for her to make it stop and it is so frustrating. I want automation but if I tell her to do something I want her to keep doing it
