Sims keep stopping/cancelling out their actions to do other things

My Sims will no longer perform actions unless I either instruct them to do so multiple times or keep the selected Sim selected until the action is completed since the update released on June 1, 2025 ...

This has been happening for months now and is making it unplayable at this point, I feel like ripping my hair out trying to get any sim to do what I need them to do.

As others described, it's an issue with Sims not moving for a time and then dropping the action
Sims autonomously going to do something (usually something stupid) and I cancel the action, they will still go and perform the action.
Sims not continuing with tasks after switching household member, I have to stay with each individual sim until they finish the task.
