I have this issue in 5 variations:
- The Sim cancelling my own queued actions in the middle of it before completing them (with no infants or toddlers in the house) just to do something random that I didn't queue, like looking at a picture or reading a book
- The Sim cancelling the whole action queue all of a sudden
- The Sim not reacting to cancel: They queue something on their own (which is fine, that's just autonomy) but when I cancel this unwanted action, the Sim still keeps doing it (like walking downstairs to go to the kitchen, even when I cancel that while their are still far away from the stairs upstairs, they still go all the way to the stairs, walk down and then only stop doing their own action when they arrived in the kitchen.... so annoying!)
- Me queuing something up, but the Sim just standing there and not doing anything in the action queue -> I observed that this happens sometimes as well when some other random Sim from somewhere far away decided to talk to mine and that's why my Sim is frozen there waiting for that other Sim and not doing anything I told him to do - but this does not show up in their action queue so it is very confusing and looks like the Sim is broken. I think this should not even happen in the first place, or at least cancel that other random sims action if my sim has a user-queued action.
- My Sim having a on-and off flickering feet icon in their action queue as if they want to start doing something, which repeatedly triggers in a unlimited loop but the Sim just stands there and does nothing, and there is a sound as if they are trying to start something but nothing happens. -> I sometimes have this happening when they try to go to a place to use a laptop, but something is not working, while the path to the laptop is free and easy to access. When i go into build mode and remove the laptop it resolves that loop, but it's unclear why there is a problem with it, to help a player debug this.
