Sims leave job/school after another sim travels

Just had this happen for the first time after today's patch. Playing on PC, brand new game, no mods, almost all packs owned (just a few kits missing).

I had a sim go to work (business career), a teen go to (rabbithole) school and a child go to school. The mum was at home and decided to travel to the spa, getting there around 11 am, and I noticed when she arrived that it showed everyone else as being at home. When she travelled back home around 2pm, sure enough they were already all home, too early.

Same is happening to me, made an entirely fresh game and still happened, pretty much un-playable without being able to travel when another sim is in a Rabbit Hole...

Also have the issue with not being able to drag plates to the bin or sink :(

This still hasn't been fixed with the patch update--I'm playing on mac

Just a lil update since the update just came out and… my sim still won’t stay at work :(

Say 3 of my sims go to school or work (rabbithole) then i decide to travel with one of my sims that isn't working/school (non-rabbithole) to the gym or library or goes on a date, anything like that. When I leave the home lot, the game will automatically bring those at school/work back to the home lot and cut their school or work performance. 

I've also seen this posted before but there hasn't really been any traction/fixes for it. I was hoping it was going to be patched in today's update...but it wasn't 💔. I've seen that people are also experiencing this on PC and console. I'm posting it again to bring some more attention to it because I'm seeing that I'm not the only one with this problem. 

For troubleshooting's sake, I'm playing on Mac with the newest update. I've repaired the game, uninstall & reinstalled, with and without mods and still nothing. Hopefully this can get patched! (the only mods I have are MCCC and UI cheats) 

Definitely not because of GTW. Any loading screen is bringing Sims home from work/school still. I haven't played an active GTW career in years.

Is anyone else having this problem ?

The father in the current family im playing with is in the reaper career, the mother in the grave caretaker. The mother goes to work at 8am along with the kids going to school(One in HS other is in grade school). The father goes to work at 9am. Everytime I go with the father to work, EVERYONE COMES HOME FROM WORK/SCHOOL. It has happened twice so far and i'm afraid of the kids failing school. help ?

The issue comes up whenever there is a loading screen. When I'm on the home lot and go into create-a-sim, when I exit out I get a prompt asking if I'm sure that the sim wants to return from work/school early. In other instances, a sim will go to work/school and then I'll travel to a lot with another sim, get the loading screen, and then the other sims are automatically returned from work/school early. The sims that returned early can go to another event automatically, but then when I go through another loading screen with the active sim, the inactive sim still returns early from whatever activity/event they went to.

Same for me.  My Sim's child can't progress at school if I leave the lot. This update seems to have brought a lot of new game breaking bugs.

It started happening to me after I activated the Nature's Calling event.
