Sims leave job/school after another sim travels

Hello,

First time writing on here so I hope I do this right.

Currently I am having a reoccuring glitch where if Sim A is at work or school, and Sim B leaves to go to another lot when they return, Sim A comes home from school or work. This has been effecting my sims work/school preformance. I currently don't have any mods installed and I am at a lost at what to do now. Please help!

I've been playing a sim in the reaper career, and whenever she goes to her job and I go with her, the rest of her family members who are at work or school leave work or school early and go home. So I effectively cannot play the reaper career. 

This also happened when I had people at work and school, and I had the remaining family members travel to a new lot, so I know that it is related to traveling and not just the reaper career.

I have this bug too, it's so annoying.

Since updating to the latest patch (also could possibly be related to the event being active) after not playing for several months, I can't have a Sim from my household(s) travel anywhere without it pulling everyone else out of work and school.

They don't show up on lot as if being forced to travel as a group, but instead the other Sims show up at home with no way to send them back to school or work.

It's making it impossible right now to travel with Sim kids in school and/or trying to travel with a Sim in a rabbithole job. 

It doesn't matter if I try new saves, old saves, new user folder, etc. It happens over and over. I thought I was losing my mind till I found this thread and another one here. 

Also having this. Haven't played in several months so I don't know if it's the event or the latest patch causing it. 

Same bug for myself.  Came back to play the event and anytime any of my characters return home from traveling such as on their day off anyone at school, work, anything all show up at home cutting their work, school, club events short.  

For example I have a magic family but returning home from the magic realm by hitting the house icon to return home caused all the high school students and the other parent to appear at home even though they were in school or at work.

I've just recently started having this happen within the last week or so. crinrict​, I actually followed your factory reset instructions, and on the new file, it still happened with a completely new group of sims (adults and children). I was hoping it was a mod that I could update or toss out, but seems its a bug within the game itself in my case. To be safe, I did make sure to check on latest updates for all my mods and made sure I had latest versions.

 No last exception being triggered when the issue happens and it's happened with different families within the same save. My main family that I play is a family of four, 2 of which are children in school and one who has a career. The other adult I have has a small business on a lot outside of the home, so anytime I leave with her, the others return home early (having been paid, but lowering work performance). And its not if I travel only to the small business lot, its any lot she goes to that triggers the issue.

I am playing with 3 people in the house hold. No mods. And when one of the sims goes to the business career I sent another one in the household to dig for elements by traveling to other worlds. When the sim that was digging comes back to the home lot she finds the sim that was suppose to be at work at home at 1pm instead of at work. Work ends at 5pm. His job performance is also suffering because of it. 

I'm having the same issue!!!

Whenever a loading screen pops up (from going into CAS, transitioning to a different lot, loading a save, etc.) any sims who are at work will return home early, bringing home far less simoleons and causing a hit to job performance.

I have tried removing all mods and CC, and have tried resetting the game by deleting my The Sims 4 folder and letting a new one be generated when I started up the game again. The issue persists.

I am playing on PC through Steam.
