Sims leave job/school after another sim travels

Commenting so this thread gets more traction as I am having the same issue :( I am playing a legacy challenge which currently consists of two adult sims, one child and one toddler. My one adult sim has an active career in the grim reaper career and every time I join him to work my other adult and child come home from work/school immediately, even if it has been 15 in game minutes. I tried testing this out by having my child go to school and then have an adult sim try on outfits in CAS and when I am done the child is home. It effects their work performance and they get paid almost nothing. It is quite annoying so I am not even playing the game until it is sorted as having this many sims that need to leave the lot it bugs out too much. Long story short if a sim leaves the lot (rabbit hole) and you do anything that involves a loading screen. The sim that left the lot is right back whether you like it or not. 

Also happening to me. I only have the MCCC mod enabled, and I tried removing it. I also tried resetting factory settings, and the problem persisted on my new save. It happens anytime a sim travels, I go into CAS, or I reload into the same. I only have 1 active job but I usually stay home and just send him on his own so I don't encounter the issue. It was happening very randomly, but it is now happening pretty much all the time to all of my sims. It happens to multiple save files, ranging across different household sizes. 

When I follow my sim to work as a police officer, my other sims immediately return home from school or work. For example, my child sim goes to school before my cop sim goes to work, but once he gets to work the child will immediately return home from school. My other adult sim goes to work after the cop goes to work, but if I travel to a crime scene as a cop, the other adult sim will return home from work once I return to the police station. My other adult sim and child sim cannot complete a full day of work or school if I choose to follow my cop sim to work. 

This has been happening for me since Natures Calling event too. I hope they fix it soon! 

I really hope this bug gets fixed because I literally have to pick one sim to follow and it has to coincide with ones that haven’t left the house yet which is so annoying. I didn’t get these expansion packs to be stuck with one sim 

I'm on pc no mods no cc.
My two sims were off their home lot, the work day started for sim A, I sent sim A to work and had sim B go home, when sim B got home sim A's work day ended (they got promoted not sure if that's relevant).

I had my sim working out at the gym and the when it came time for my sim to go to work, the sim would, but it would send me back to the house and the sim was suddenly back from work. Because of that she only earned 3 Simoleans. This also happened the last time the sim had to go to work, though she got 6 Simoleans instead.

Before this started happening, when the sim was working out and then left to go to work, I would be sent to the house and she would continue working, but this hasn't be the case recently. How do I stop this?

Some information: I only have the base game and I started playing last week and I did update my game recently. Also I'm not sure what tags to use and I might post this on reddit too if this keeps happening so more people will see it

I have 2 sims in my household. When I send my one sim to work, and the other one travels (doesn't matter where) my sim comes home from work. I have no mods. I have tried creating a new file, using different sims, uninstalling sims and reinstalling, resetting my sim character. nothing seems to fix the problem

This is happening to me and my friend too :( so frustrating!!

The same thing has been happening to me (I'm still playing with the June update - I haven't updated with the July 1st update yet). If one sim goes to work, and then someone else in the household travels to another lot, the sim that was at work immediately comes home - cutting their work day short. It's impacting game play because the sim doesn't make a full day's pay, and it negatively impacts their job performance. It's very limiting because the other sims are all trapped at home while one is away at work.
