Sims not aging properly and curser glich

I aged my teenager to a young adult and she didn’t get the proper age up. I didn’t get to add a new trait. Her childhood milestones such as manners and responsibility which were in the positive range didn’t add to her young adult traits. Also have been having issues with the curser freezing and having to constantly mange worlds to fix the issue or save the game over and over.
