Since the May patch update, my Sims are not functioning properly when they are engaged in certain careers, such as the Green Engineer or Mechanical Engineer professions. Although they are able to complete the pre-work assignments, they do not proceed to actually go to work. I have tried it with and without mods. Currently my mods are back on.

Even my old households do not go to work. I can not even send them to work. Nothing solves this issue. Timee says: 0 minutes to work but they wont go.

Been having this problem as well, which seems short termed (eg. only becomes a problem for a couple hours of play time or exit and return) and Im no longer experiencing this issue but the fact it happened with no warranting issues or triggers is thoroughly annoying.

As stated in the title, my sims wont go to work when I tell them to on the PS5 version even when I use the "Go to Work" option on the phone or click on the Sim to make them leave.

Hi fbgpwl123
are you still having issues with this ? Could you provide the info asked in my earlier post ?

Hi fbgpwl123
Could you please provide the following information
- Are you using mods/cc in your game ? Please remove them and test without them if you do.
- What platform are you playing on (PC, Mac, Playstation, XBox). Please pick a thread tag for that.
- To be sure, they also don't show at work ? The icon is not greyed out ?

When my Sims get a job and it is time for them to go to work, they often do not leave for work. The “Go to Work” button either does not appear one hour before work, or even if I click it, the Sim does not actually go to work when the work time arrives.
In some cases, the Sim seems to be “at work,” but they do not change into their work outfit. Instead, they stand still in front of the door and remain there. However, the Sim is still controllable, meaning that I can click on them and make them move or perform interactions even though they are supposed to be at work.
I tested this several times with different careers. So far, only two careers seem to work normally: Politician and Freelancer. With most other careers, the same issue occurs.
I also tried moving only the affected Sim into a different household to test whether the problem was tied to that specific Sim. After moving, that Sim was able to go to work normally. However, another Sim in the original household then started having the same bug and would not go to work.
Because of this, the issue does not seem to be limited to one specific Sim. It seems to affect Sims in the household or lot when they try to go to work.

This issue is still happening for me. I'm on PC, playing through Steam with no mods or CC.

Hi voosjesaar
unfortunately you can't attach LastExceptions here. You need to either copy/paste the content or upload them somewhere.
EA is also looking for saves for this so please send yours to EA_Solaire
