After update nov 4th my kids/teens will not go to bathroom or eat during school, which means they come home with red bladder and hunger.

This is happening with me too. Especially with sims going to work.
I assume it is still not fixed even in the latest big patch?
All my sims are having bladder troubles in rabbitholes. Kids / teens / adults. Not only bladder, other needs as well, but bladder need is decreasing quickest.
This bug is very immersion breaking. Sims not taking care of their needs while away at work AND school? They had them all in the green before leaving, and still have bathroom accidents the moment they get home. I play in an ISBI way, so I only control one sim per play session. I have the autonomy on Full except for selected sim. I expectation is that the other sims will take care of themselves without intervention, but I am forced to use ui cheats to fix needs when they are not on the lot.
My sims are coming home starving and almost wetting themselves after returning from work, school or daycare. It is not replenishing at all during the work, school, daycare times,
I've noticed this issue in my game as well. I removed all my mods and cleared all caches before starting a new save. My sim is in the scientist career (though I have noticed it with the romance consultant career as well), and I've noticed that when I send her to work and leave "normal" as the work option, she will fill her bladder and hunger needs, but if I select any other option (work hard, take it easy, or socialize with coworkers) her bladder and hunger needs both continue to deplete. If I then change her work selection back to "normal," she will only partially fill her bladder and hunger needs. I have not tested all careers, but I'd be happy to send my save if it helps.
very annoying and it's every day, for all sims, no mod no cc ...
This is getting pretty unplayable. No mods, base game only. I sent a newly pregnant sim to work and she came home with 3 red bars. I had to take a vacation day the next day. My kid isn't filling any needs at school either.

I do play with mods (thank goodness in this case)
