I guess I might have a related issue, where they can go to an active career, and the game thinks I'm using the career outfit, but visually I'm still in my casual at home clothes.

I can tell it thinks I'm using the career outfit when I go to change outfit, it shows correctly there, but not on my Sim.

It's the same for me.
Additionally, the same thing happens when I go on a skiing vacation. The Sim thinks they're wearing winter clothes, but they're still wearing summer or everyday clothes.
Sometimes the entire automatic clothing system seems to no longer work properly. All of this has happened since the last patch.
