I’m not sure if it’s because they’re in an angry mood due to"not fulfilling their life’s purpose” but sims have speech bubble with a red circle and cross „no” symbol when doing certain things (mainly using computer. i was trying to have my sim write a novel which was on their list of things to do „write the best novel” or something but it wouldn’t let me. same with another sim trying to write a term paper).
Second I see it says that the removed items issue is due to modded items but i had the issue with my sim due to having saved player-made shades in any of the makeup categories. i had this issue with my sim with her eyeshadow (base game) and the mac (is that also base game?) lipstick/blush shades. not sure if anything else would cause it but after selecting the shade again (sim was still wearing the makeup but everything was unselected) it seemed to fix the issue of removed items so far.
Lastly I had a huge glitch when traveling to event at the high school - sim was mid-activity and was going to go into build-buy mode to delete an object but right as i clicked the button she traveled to the event and the entire bottom UI was messed up with her phone ringing with a message of just 12345..etc a slew of numbers and unable to click or move my sim or any of the UI including quit. Was able to click manage worlds —> save and manage worlds but this just made the screen black with the event still in the background so I had to force quit the game.
