I’m doing yet another forum simply because there was no solution on a 5 MONTH old discussion…….. I haven’t done ANYTHING different nor have I even took the sims that are having the skin glitch into CAS before they turned pitch void black. Everyone is saying tattoos but no, it’s not. Even in live mode they look like this. I need to know what I need to do. This is ridiculous and frustrating to the point where I don’t even want to play or spend any more money on the game if this is to be expected EVERY TIME…… I logged in, my music continued to play even though I have it set in MY SETTINGS that it’s turned all the way down and should register that once in MY game under my Xbox account. So the menu keeps reverting back to original settings as well. And this all happened after playing, not completing, the second week of the event.
I know you're saying it's not tattoos but I'm going to ask you some questions regarding those just to check, okay?
- Do any of the voided sims have a tattoo that came from the gallery or were painted on?
- Have you removed all or any tattoos from these sims to make sure this isn't the issue?
- Have you put any custom tattoos on your sims?
At this time due to my own research, I'm leaning towards something being wrong with the game being unable to see the custom paint layer. This is happening with painted dogs, cats, horses, and werewolves too. Anything that would be on that layer could also cause that glitch but you're on console so you're not gonna have CC/mods.
Your other issues seem to be unique to console, I can't help there.
