Hi! The same exact thing is happening to me. All my sims have turned pitch black. I removed all my mods and prior to that for the better exceptions mod to see which ones were broken but they are still all black. Is it from the custom tattoos downloaded from the gallery? And if so how do I remove them off of all my sims that have turned black. If you could help me I’d really appreciate it I’ve had the same sims save FOREVER and don’t want to loose it.

I don't know which platform you are playing on. If you are also on the PS5 platform, you can try my method by finding the blackened character, selecting the heart-shaped icon representing the tattoo, and then directly pressing the "triangle" button on the icon. This will delete all tattoos on the character's body, and then add tattoos again (even those from the gallery). This method can keep my character normal in this game until the next time. Perhaps this operation needs to be repeated every time you enter!
