Just an update, I fixed it. Apparently it’s tattoos? For some reason my sims randomly turned black halfway through playing, yet when I went into CAS and removed their tattoos they turned back to normal? But now I need to find all the original tattoos they had from the gallery, so not the best.
How did you remove gallery tattoos? this has happened to my sims too and I don't know how to fix it!!! :(
(edit her colour comes back in paint mode and I can’t see any tattoos left, but when I leave paint mode she’s back to being blacked out)
Remove all tattoos, and hopefully it will remove the gallery added ones too.
