For my affected Werewolves, the culprit was not any mod or cc, but simply having used Paint mode to design their pelt in Werewolf form.
Entering Paint mode in CAS cleared the problem for me. One affected Sim also was matte black in human form as well. In his case I had to remove and re-apply a tattoo (not custom, just a swatch from those available in game) as well.
