I had updated the game, played it, Sims were normal. Tried to play it again today, now two of my sims, and a cat, do not have skin, or fur. They look like this in live mode, CAS, manage worlds, the game menu, and the relationship panel. Out of the six Sims in my household, three are like this, and NPCs are experiencing it too.
I tried to see if temporarily changing their skin colour, and then switching it back would fix it. But it doesn’t. I also tried to reset them, and I repaired my game.
I use a PC and the EA app. I don’t use mods.
I’m just wondering if anyone else is experiencing this?
Exactly the same for me, a subset of the sims I created in my main save are exactly like this. PC player, no mods or CC. Unable to change in CAS with cheats. Only noticed this from today.
..I see this was linked to the 4 months old comment from anibutterfly8. I can confirm that if you remove all tattoos in CAS, this resolves it for sims with this issue and if you remove paint in CAS from pets, the same (cas.fulleditmode). Shame, cos one of the affected Sims I had taken hours to replicate my own tattoos.... at least there is a workaround!
