I am dealing with this right now - I was able to fix my sim by deleting her custom tattoos :'( which sucks, but I can live...
but my family dog made by Pugowned lost it's texture, and there's no way to fix it except to delete the custom texture that creator spent so much time on! I've had this dog for so long and he's well-trained. I don't want to replace him from the gallery. I'm so sad!

I play on XBOX S, no mods obvs. tried manually clearing my cache as well. kicking myself for not having a back up save for this family, as I usually do
That is so sad to hear about the dog in your file. It is also hard to constantly keep a back up so i feel you on not always having one. I want more people to like this post so that EA see that this is an issue this current update started. I guess some people got this bug a few updates ago but i didnt and im mad about it. I want them to fix the game!
