Sims washing hands in sink in different bathroom (Patch 1.117.288)

I'm having an issue where my sims keep preferring the sink and trash bin in their business instead of the sink and trash can in their home. Their business is on floor 1, their residential kitchen is on floor 2. A sim will eat their dinner and then do their dishes all the way downstairs instead of using the kitchen sink that's in the same room that they are in. It's the same with the trash can. They will never use the kitchen trash can, only the one in the small business downstairs.

I've assigned the sinks as kitchen vs bathroom to ensure appropriate use. This didn't work though.

I use MCCC and UI Cheats Extension, both are updated to their most current form and my game is fully updated.

I'm having similar issues. My sims have definitely used the toilet in one bathroom and gone to another to wash their hands. They are also completely by passing the bathroom closest to them and routing to the one in their home business, which is often the option farthest away. Also, when I cancel the action to stop them from going to the bathroom farthest away, the interaction quite literally doesn't stop them until they've made it there anyway. So, I'm basically trying to stop them for nothing. 

Same. Will walk across the house to wash hands ignoring every sink on the way.  No mods used. On PC. Started after patch update 

FWIW, I've been trying to reproduce this behavior since the latest update, but I haven't seen it happen again.

This may be a symptom of a more general bug with routing when moving between related tasks.

After hosting a house party, I had my Sim clean up (click on a dirty dish and select Clean Up). She wandered around picking up dirty dishes, but she wasn't at all efficient about it. Pick up a glass in one room, pick up a dish from a table in another room, pick up a glass in a third room, pick up a dish from a different table in the second room, pick up another dish from the first table in the second room, pick up another glass in the first room, and so on. I would expect her to pick up all the dirty dishes from one table, or in one room, before moving on to the rest of the house.

I'll try to capture this behavior if I see it again. I haven't seen the original behavior (using toilet, going to a sink in another room to wash hands) for a while though.
