I thought this had to do with couples. I have a sim that is and always has been single. First owner of his house and I haven't played this save in a long time. First time he tries to go to bed he doesn't even stay for a second. This issue needs to be fixed. There is no noise or any other gameplay that causes the sim to not sleep. They are exhausted to the point they could die and would certainly collapse (if dying from lack of sleep isn't a thing). Just fix it already.
He also won't nap on the couch. So can't sleep anywhere in his one bedroom house.
