I wonder if this is the same or different than what I'm experiencing.
Sims made food in the kitchen, walked through the dining room with 4 empty seats (and a table), past the living room with a couch and up the stairs to sit on the bed. Albeit, it's a great bed and the dining room chairs are only decent on comfort, but still. If they are prioritizing the most comfortable seat, then this design should be re-written to find a close seat at a table or counter.
