Every day, the Maid cleans the house, but they continuously clean the small kitchen appliances until the afternoon before leaving.
Note: These appliances have been fully upgraded, including self-cleaning. This happens in every save file and every household I have with a maid when they also have small kitchen appliances.

My sims won't stop cleaning the grill over and over! I had to remove the grill from my house so they would stop getting stuck in a cleaning loop. It was specifically the grill from perfect patio.

there's an open report for maids and also room mates but I haven't seen one for all Sims.
Do your Sims have the neat trait ?
This happens on Xbox too unfortunately, it's irritating.
I had a maid do that to me. She would spend the entire shift to clean the grill. (Don't remember which grill I had) I had to just delete it off my lot.
I've noticed lately that Maids end up staying all day when cleaning because they keep cleaning grills and BBQs over and over again.
