Whenever my Sims interact with Sims outside my household, all social interactions cause a drop in both friendship and romance levels, instead of increasing or staying the same.
This issue occurs consistently in every save and I have no mods or custom content enabled.
I have tried restarting the game and clearing the cache, but the problem persists and negatively affects normal relationship gameplay.

I wish I could edit the post, but I did that already. Removed all the mods, and the problem is still ongoing so I doubt this is a mod issue. I have not tried to repair the game and my internet just went down, but as soon as it comes back up I'll do that bc this is my last hope now 😔
Edit: also to add, I have moved my sim to another save file and added a random sim to the household, did the same thing on my save file. Interactions are always negative when my sim starts it, but whenever the other sims would interact with my sim, it was all normal
I solved it! The only sim affected by this was my sim; so whenever I would start an interaction with my original sim selected, the interaction would fail, but if it was from another sim to my sim or other sims, everything worked normal. Luckily my sim was very new so I just merged the very first version of her saved in the gallery with the current one I was playing with, then set everything up on the newly added sim (skills, memories, reputation, etc) with the UI cheats mod to match the current version of the sim, and deleted the original sim from the world. I tried everything before that: removing mods, following the steps from this comment, but the only thing that seemed to fix it was creating a new copy of the sim using an old version of her from my gallery!
I’ve been having the same issue! It’s ruining gameplay as my sim can’t make / sustain any relationships (even the simplest and safest of interactions results in a negative reaction). I play on Xbox Series S so don’t have any mods/cc. If anyone finds a fix, please me know!
So i've been setting up for a new gameplay thing all day, and I finally finshed my sim's and the houses, but now when i'm trying to get them to interact, they keep being mean. It's not like they are doing mean interactions, I am literally doing "ask about day" or "brighten day", small friendly interactions. Everytime I did this the sim's would react bad and loose friendship. I thought maybe it was my mods or cc so first I did the half and half method of removing my mods, didn't find anything, I even removed all of my mods folder and it still didn't help. If anyone knows what's going on please help.
(Also it was a new save, all roomates if that matters, and I tried on two different save files)
I know this thread was put on 20 odd days ago, but i just wanted to share my experience which is recently and still not updated with the most recent update! When I am interacting with other sims to gain friendship AND more of a romantic relationship, any interaction I make (I even clicked Discussing interests which always is positive) it automatically gave negative interactions, this will happen in all the friendly social interactions. I mean ALL, this goes with all romantic too. My sim has no negative traits or lifestyles or anything which will effect any interactions (this has been tried on multiple different sims, I now have about 5 enemies from using friendly social interactions), I tried to re-trait my sim which did not work! Is this currently being investigated or does anyone have any fix? It doesn't appear to have any relation to the bad luck or good luck. ( I am playing on the PC/ Laptop)
When using the football from Highschool Years for practice with another sim, their relationship heavily decreases every time. The sims athletic level does not matter
