I had been getting this error for a while and I think I finally figured out the cause. If you use a mod that turns a miscarried child into an actual sim in the game, that may be what is triggering it. In my case, the mod was creating a sim baby named “Unborn.” That sim would disappear from the “Sims I Know” panel, but it would continue aging up in the background with no parents and as homeless. After I found and deleted all of those “Unborn” sims, I stopped getting the error message.
