I was hosting a painting class in my small business when an elder attendee dies. This elder was a total stranger to my sim, but my sim seems to have gotten the debuff as if they were close despite never introducing themselves to the elder. I am playing on Windows. I have had mods but have had them disabled before Business and Hobbies came out and never reactivated them. I am curious if anybody else has had this occur to them.
