Is it not possible to DRASTICALLY reduce how much strangers come up to you to talk and partake in your current conversations uninvited? You end up with a relationship panel crowded by strangers even...

Seeing all the votes on this makes me so happy.
I have always wanted to be the one in control of who my Sims talk to and I definitely feel we need more power. I really hope this not only gets fixed but also gets changed to give us more control over who our Sims talk to and maybe even more options. As it stands now it takes too much effort to exit a group conversation or to stop talking to a specific Sim. Group conversations have been the bain of my Sim 4 existence since the game launched.
Ideas 💡
- Control over what Sims can autonomously join a conversation (think door locks and computer locks options)
- Conversation Panel (can't we simply just click on a Sims portrait and maybe have a button that says end conversation. I feel like the Conversation Panel is useless and this would give some purpose.)
- End Conversation button on Interaction Wheel right at the top layer instead of cycling through multiple layers to get to Goodbye. Goodbye only works if your Sims are considered introduced to one another and sometimes that doesn't happen immediately when your Sims are talking to one another so you can't say goodbye to them you can only cancel the whole conversation.
- Cancel Chat and Introductions immediately. This almost never works due to the way the game handles interactions. Just because YOU cancelled it on your Sims side it's still queued up on the other Sims side and they will usually get to do it while your Sims stops dead in their tracks waiting for the Sim all the way across the world comes over to greet them .
