Is it not possible to DRASTICALLY reduce how much strangers come up to you to talk and partake in your current conversations uninvited?
You end up with a relationship panel crowded by strangers even though you never indroduced yourself and if you are flirting everything will get awkward and fail and there is no way of getting people out of your conversations.
This! I was on a Date and Had soo many Sims there that is was Impossible to flirt.
This is a very, very annoying "feature". Funny enough, it could've been fixed ages ago, since there is a mod that allows to kick unwanted sims from any conversation! Why don't vanilla players have this wonderful opportunity?
Maybe Maxis should consult modders as experts in removing these annoying "features"?
me too! it would be so nice to be on a date and not have a random Sim come and sit between them or something 🤣
If they decide to change this, I hope they do so with option boxes for those of us who play with autonomy so we can choose, lest it end up like what happened with parties where suddenly no one called you or invited you to anything! They just put it back now, thanks... if they make changes, let's hope they're "eligible and configurable."
And on the other hand, if you use mods, just google "remove sims from conversations" very useful
Oh, this is annoying. And what’s worse: when the conversation stalls because a random townie on the other side of the map decided to participate.
“Sir/Madam/Chef, you’re in a different ZIP Code, why should my Sim wait for you to saunter into this conversation for it to proceed?”
Agreed! Would be nice if you made your party a group, that non group sims didn't engage unless you invited them to (not including workers like bar tenders).
I fully support this. I don't want sims in my sim's relationship panel unless they have specifically initiated a relationship with them. This goes even further than chats at the club as different professions and lifestyles also add unwanted sims in the relationship panel.
Love it when Sims join in but when a huge group of them join in, it becomes too much of a convo 💻😵💫
This has been so frustrating for ages! 😤 I love the traction this BUG is getting! 🥳 It's so immersion breaking when you're trying to have a quiet sultry romantic date with your partner and then the bartender and 10 random townies jump into your conversation while you're trying to get your flirt on. 😒
It is also even more of a problem as far as I see because when I tell my sim to do something, they can't seem to get out of the group chat and will drop the command. So it's a bigger problem than just being an annoying group conversation.
