Successful Lineage: 'Have a child complete aspiration not checking' off

No, but it wasn't part of the patch notes so I doubt it's fixed. Feel free to check tho.

I had the same bug.  A child completed the aspiration after the update, and did not check off on the parent.

Same, it is still not working.

7 months, SEVEN!!!!!! with this bug. I have a child with eight aspirations completed, except one, and both parents cannot complete the goal.

So, here is a good example of why this system of votes is total rubbish. This bug does not get enough votes, so 7 freaking months have passed without a solution. This, plus the utmost incompetence of the Sims Team, and their continuous lies about how much they care.

This is still an issue. I'm playing vanilla, with just Base Game, but the aspiration won't tick off for my Sim attempting Successful Lineage, despite her two kids completing all child aspirations.

I’m still having this problem today, 6 months after the last comment, did someone find a solution for this? I play with age on but my 2 sims Childs (adult and child) completed the aspirations but the box wont check off. HELP!

No, there sadly has been no resolution. This bug is still marked as "under investigation" and hasn't been listed on any of the bug fix lists, so it appears that the team has not figured out the issue yet. There may be ways to use cheats to check this aspiration off, but currently the non-cheat way is still bugged. But you're not alone! It is still an issue.

​I am also experiencing this on PS5 (No Mods/CC).

​My child Sim has completed two different aspirations: "Rambunctious Scamp" and "Social Butterfly" (both are Base Game aspirations). Neither of them triggered the milestone for the parent.

​I also tested this with an adult child who completed the "Ace of Fish" (Angler-**bleep**) aspiration, but the task still did not register.

​Important detail: I made sure that the father (the Sim with the "Successful Lineage" aspiration) was present on the same lot and nearby when the children completed their aspirations.

​Steps I have tried to fix it:

• ​Restarted the PS5 console multiple times.
• ​Traveled with the father and the child to a park in Oasis Springs and back home to trigger a loading screen.

​Owned Packs:

• ​EP: Seasons, Growing Together, Horse Ranch, Cottage Living, City Living.
• ​GP/AP: Crystal Creations, Paranormal, Toddler, Home Chef Hustle.
• ​Kits: Modern Lux, Urban Homage, Sleek Bathroom, Riviera Retreat, Courtyard Oasis.

​Despite these efforts, the objective "Help a Child Complete an Aspiration" remains unfulfilled.

I'm a speedrunner of this great game. I spent like 1,5 h to set new PB on this category just to find I cant finish my run due to bugged milestone. Just great spent time. Why it's just not repaired bug?
