Im not like, SUPER mad about it but my sim just went from scientist level 2 to 7 in a single shift. It helped cause I was low on funds, but it does feel so much like cheating.

Have had this happen in the Tech Guru career (Level 1 immediately to the branching option). Cant do anything to fix it even with reloading, clearing cache, and resetting the save entirely. It's incredibly infuriating considering its happened in my carreer legacy save. Need this fixed asap

This also happened to me yesterday - level 6 comedian career straight up to 10!

Me too. Started reaper job as level 1 , jumped to level 6 , was ready to be promoted for a couple days but wasn’t getting promoted and then I took a vacation day and when that day ended I suddenly got promoted to level 10 . Not too mad but still …. Immersion breaking.

Happened to me as well. Before the update my sims were having issues getting promoted. They would go to work happy or focused, work hard, have all attributes met, have their daily task completed, have the yellow checkmark, and come home with no change. I force promoted a couple sims using testingcheats, now I have the opposite problem - all sims in my HH go to work, even if they haven't reached max performance, they will come home 4+ promotion jumps ahead. It only does that if they have completed all "tasks" for their promotion (ex: skill requirements).

I commented in the raises not promotions thread as well, but I was in the stylist career and jumped from level 2 to level 6!

I had a sim start a career and jump from level 5 to level 9 in one shift, but now cannot advance to level 10. The sim should have advanced to level 10, but instead got a raise for good performance and is now at level 9 +2.

I think it's related, but my flower arranger sim gets promoted everyday and now it says +24 behind the carreer name. This means that she gets a 1500s bonus as well.

I had a sim get to level 9 of the chef career and then got up to +8 with raises but would not get a promotion to 10. I even cheated her performance to be +100 to MAKE SURE she got a promotion and she again just got a raise and not promoted. Haven’t had the skip levels (to my knowledge I have several sims in the household)
