'There was an error uploading your item to the Gallery'

Ever since patch 1.117.221.1020 (August 19, 2025) I have had this error when trying to upload Lots to the Gallery; whereas, prior to the August 19th patch everything worked perfectly/as expected.

So far, I have:

Removed Mods; which didn't make a difference, the error still persists

Repaired the Game several times; which didn't make a difference, the error still persists

Started a Fresh/New Save; which didn't make a difference, the error still persists

Re-saved Lot to Library and tried to upload a new copy; which didn't make a difference, the error still persists.

Reset the Game to Factory settings without Reinstalling via Crinrict's site; which also didn't make a difference.

NOTHING seems to Help this Generic Issue. :<

I'm not sure what else to try, there is no Error Code or Anything useful in the error message to direct/lead to potential solutions while troubleshooting, just the Generic Error:

"There was an error uploading your item to the Gallery"

    Tagging me like you did is usually the best method to make sure I see the answer .. although sometimes it can still get lost.

    I don't have any suggestions at this point. It might be related/same as the server error issue that's been going on a while.

    Hi Crinrict, :)

    *I am re-posting here to make sure you get my reply, my first reply didn't post as a reply under your response I was replying to? *I'm not really used to this 'new' forum; I greatly miss the Old format. :\

    After some further troubleshooting, I discovered:

    1) I was able to upload rooms without issue, or at least I tried to upload one and that did work. I don't upload sims to the Gallery; not sure 'why' I don't, I just never have. NO WAIT that's not true, I did upload a sim one time some years back; a teen version of Vlad that I humanized because I wanted to see what he would be like as a Teen handling High School; this was after High School Years came out. (haha)

    2) I still cannot upload the Lot I've been trying to upload; oddly I had it on the gallery at one point, but I updated it and wanted to put up a 'fresh' copy with the updates, so I removed it from the gallery first before uploading. I don't have any CC (that I recall) on the lot either, so I'm not sure what is going on. 

    3) I do have a suspicion though, I believe it 'might' be that I updated the images for the upload with S4TI (The Sims 4 Tray Importer) and I'm starting to think that maybe that is causing my issues with uploading the lot. This would be even more confusing than it already is because the 'old copy' of the lot that I previously had on the Gallery did indeed have 'custom images' that I replaced the defaults with using S4TI. If I find that 'replacing images' is what is causing the upload problems, then I'll have to make a bug report at the S4TI forum. 

    4) As far at lots go, I have tried uploading 'other' lots besides the one I've been having trouble with, and really it's a gamble. Sometimes lots will upload and other times they won't; not all of my lots have custom images, I just do that with lots that the 'in game camera' took a Horrible picture of; the in game camera is just awful sometimes when taking Lot Images. However, it seems to me that lots without 'custom images/replaced images' seem to have a better chance at actually uploading without error.

    I'll wait to see what you say about what I've mentioned here. I don't want to create a 'bug report' on the S4TI forum if I don't have to; in the event that the replaced images couldn't be the cause as I suspect. All I do know for certain is, all the problems started after the August 19th patch. Everything was working perfectly until that patch.

    to be sure, you tried multiple lots ? Do you have the same issue with Sims and/or rooms or are those fine ?
