'There was an error uploading your item to the Gallery'

I just came here to report this issue I am having myself and this work around has worked successfully for me.

I'm getting the same issue also! I tried removing all mods, multiple repairs, everything! Nothing works! I can't upload anything! I can't even save to my own gallery! I just finished building a beautiful huge lux home and I'm so sad I can't upload it! I hope they fix this ASAP!

I'm asking this here because I couldn't find a board for Gallery stuff itself...

Ok, so I had, yesterday I believe it was now, uploaded a lot to the Gallery and that went fine.  I realized today however that I had a typo/misspelling of the first word of the lot's "Title".  So I removed it from the Gallery, fixed that, then went to upload it again.  But now, every time I try, I get this message:

"There was an error uploading your item to the Gallery"

And that's it.  No option for me to do anything other than click the little "Ok" button it puts beneath that message itself in the pop up box.

Can anyone explain what this means and/or help me be able to get my lot back up on the Gallery?

crinrict​ Thank you!  I upvoted as you suggested.  I don't understand this bug at all.  I didn't have it the day before yesterday.  Or at least didn't have trouble uploading the lot the first time, nor a few sims I'd made as well.  But after deleting it from the Gallery, fixing the typo in the lot's title and trying to upload it to the Gallery again, BAM!  I get that annoying error message.  I'm grateful to know that at least I'm not alone with this.  Thank you again so much!

roguelynx96​ ryazan_atra​  Thank-you both of you for sharing your work around method!  Ran into this error for the first time today (18 Dec, so patch 1.120) with a household I wanted to share.  Similiar story, I wanted to fix a typo, so I deleted it off the gallery and then ran into this error trying to re-upload.  Saving a fresh copy of the household into my Library and then uploading that one to the Gallery worked.
