Any time I try to have a parent use the "read toddler book" interaction, they just stand there with the book in hand for a few minutes and then cancels the interaction.

I'm having the same issue. Whenever I try to interact with toddlers, sims just stand and stare at each other for hours instead of performing whatever action is in que. Notifications for the same toddler quirk keeps popping up every couple of minutes, and the toddlers keep standing or sitting and falling to the floor constantly, especially if they're sitting on a couch or high chair. Toddlers are completely glitching out.
