Toddlers/Children do not eat

My household have a toddler, everything was fine until the family decided to visit the recreation center, then my toddler bugged and wouldn’t eat food. They took the plate, found a place to sit, but that was just it. The food is gone from inventory but they are not eating. When I cancel the interaction, the food showed up but sams thing happening again. I’m assuming its caused by traveling, just like infants milestones bug, it caused by when you travel out of your home lot.

honestly, these small things annoy me so much.. you’re saying that i have to stay put at home lot so that I can get a smooth game? It took a save and exit then run the game again, but why should I do that each time after I left the home lot?

Same issue on my home lot. Toddlers grab the food but don’t eat it. Feeding them is really hard and  takes several tries.  

It’s irritating so much. I had 3 toddlers and I tried everything - different food, different locations, resetting, waiting… they almost never can eat, just stuck with the plate.

The children don't eat, they stay in front of their plates, the animation doesn't start and the hunger gauge doesn't increase. Even with a quick meal. This is only true with children.

Does this happen to anyone else?

My kids aren’t eating. They just sit there and do nothing. The action doesn’t even cancel itself! Ugh! 

I have absolutely no mods or cc in my game. 

I am having the same problem with my toddlers and children. The parents grab a serving for the toddler and give it to them, and the action to eat os there but they just sit there not eating. My child sims will serve themselves and again just sit there with the action to eat but won't actually eat. Very annoying.
