Along side the current gallery issue, there seems to be a bug where after blowing out the candles on a birthday cake the "age up" interaction for toddlers will queue and they will begin to walk around as if looking for a spot to age up- but then it will fade away and they never do. This has happened twice now with my two toddler Sims but not with my sim who aged up to a teen. This isn't the only issue I've had with interactions queuing but never following through (well known for happening with infants) but this is one that's really bothering me considering Im spending infinite simoleons on birthday candles 😭 — (console player btw, ps5, EVERYTHING has been very buggy since the last February updates it gets to a point 💀)
I bake a cake and add candles. Get the good old, "this cake needs to be in the middle of the table" issue. While the cake is in the middle of the table. Or counter. So I move it. A lot. Then I reload/restart. Then I throw it away and try again. Nope. If I finally, by some miracle, manage to get it to work, it's few and far between. But if you go into CAS and age them up, you then get the chance of having them keep infant animations for the rest of their lives. And if you use MCCC, the adults simply pick up the infant, and put them down, and pick them up, and put them down. Three different methods - all broken/buggy. Aging up is, I dunno, kind of essential to game play? PC W11 (This entire expansion should be removed from the code and players refunded. Infants have NEVER worked properly.)
