I don't know if this has already been reported, but I can't find it.
It often happens in my games that the trash can has fallen down (probably kicked over by someone passing by) but that is is shown standing up. The only available interaction is to 'pick up'. I can't drag trash to the trash can. When my sim picks up the trash can, the trash can is shown on the ground during the start of the interaction.
crinrict I think this is because certain outdoor trash cans can't be picked up after they've been kicked, but after a lot move or reload they will appear to be upright (but still knocked over as far as game logic goes.) Those trash cans that can be picked up, will also appear to be upright after a lot move or reload, but do have the pick up interaction on them. Just got reminded of this after finding a trash can in the National Forest in Granite Falls knocked over, without a Pick Up interaction on it.
I had this happen with the same trash can...I tried to drag stuff into it to clean up and it wouldn't let me, so I was confused. I deleted it and replaced it with a different trash can.
I have this bug but wanted to mention another similar bug here cause I was not sure if I should make a sepperate bug report. Just like the trash can shows standing the huge vault door from get famous looks closed although its open and sims can still walk right through it. If I click reset object thevault opening animation plays but if I reload the lot the bug reappears. Its another instance of an obect shown in a state its not really in.

The Businesses and Hobbies Trash Can is showed as standing upright, trying to drag items into it doesn't work. Clicking on it gives the option to pick it up, when the Sim tries to pick it up the Animation is completly bugged. Afterwards it works again, but if kicked again the bug reappears.
