Trash Cans Stop Working on Some Lots

11500486 is similar but the bug happening is a bit different.  When you try to empty the indoor can, you do not get a message and nothing is greyyed out.  Instead, the sim just picks up the trash out of the indoor can and drops it on the floor.  In addition, the outdoor can cannot be interacted with at all (besides upgrading it).

crinrict​ I think this is because certain outdoor trash cans can't be picked up after they've been kicked, but after a lot move or reload they will appear to be upright (but still knocked over as far as game logic goes.) Those trash cans that can be picked up, will also appear to be upright after a lot move or reload, but do have the pick up interaction on them. Just got reminded of this after finding a trash can in the National Forest in Granite Falls knocked over, without a Pick Up interaction on it.

The outside trash cans keep breaking, if they fall over then they don't work and I have to buy a new one. The base game ones don't break as often its usually the ones from DLC. It's really frustrating and has been broken months maybe over a year. I play on PC with no mods.

In my game other sims from time to time kicks it and it falls. And everytime my sims puts it back to place its not working anymore, I have to buy new garbage can everytime instead.
