Trash Cans Stop Working on Some Lots

11500486 is similar but the bug happening is a bit different.  When you try to empty the indoor can, you do not get a message and nothing is greyyed out.  Instead, the sim just picks up the trash out of the indoor can and drops it on the floor.  In addition, the outdoor can cannot be interacted with at all (besides upgrading it).

This has occurred in a brand new save file right after the 9/18/2025 update. No Mods or CC Ever. All expansions installed. The lot shown is the Fern & Frond Wading Pond, and there is a scenario running. The sim cannot even attempt to pick up the CanOFlage Outdoor Trash Receptacle. The only solution i have found is to delete the trash can and repurchase it.

The outside trash cans keep breaking, if they fall over then they don't work and I have to buy a new one. The base game ones don't break as often its usually the ones from DLC. It's really frustrating and has been broken months maybe over a year. I play on PC with no mods.

In my game other sims from time to time kicks it and it falls. And everytime my sims puts it back to place its not working anymore, I have to buy new garbage can everytime instead. 

Trash from all inside trash cans will now be emptied and dumped to the outdoor trash can.

Fixed in Patch 1.119.109/2.23

There were a few issues/threads with trash cans issues. Not sure if all is fixed.
