TS4‘26Sims can’t do romantic interactions. + Sim got pregnant by woohoo partner

I have a pair of sims who I have had hit it off amazing in a different save. I placed them in this brand new save (in separate households this time) and they were fast friends even though they had bad compatibility. I have over 4000+ hours on console sims so I know how to get romance going, yet their romantic interactions keep failing no matter their mood or full relationship level. I am on console so I know it’s absolutely not a mod problem and I also do not own lovestruck. I had my playable sim ask out a 3rd sim on a date and she showed up with some romantic points, and in a flirty mood to the date. I had my sim flirt with the 3rd sim but now she was being rejected by this 3rd sim. She was able to successfully flirt with the 3rd sim once but as I went to follow up 3rd sim once again started to reject my sims romance interactions. I somehow was able to just do the talk 10 times goal and get gold on the date so I put the reward down to set up the flirty atmosphere for the original 2 and my sim was able to flirt successfully one time (neither time awarding any romance points anyways) but then right back to rejection. I am playing a legacy challenge so I was just going to have them be woohoo partners and have the first then wait for this to be fixed or find a solution on here. I saw in the romance options I could make them try for baby (even though they’re woohoo partners). For challenge purposes I was going to have them woohoo then have a science baby. However I saw my sims needs begin to degrade quickly, and I then saw the option to take a pregnancy test on the toilet, so I checked her age progression and as it turns out she was pregnant. I saved and went to manage worlds where I ran an experiment for the romance problems…. My original couple was set to be spouses and then I made another married couple, after which I set them all 4 to be partners. I placed the household so I had the married couples flirt between spouses, and then that was a bit more successful until I made the married couples flirt between their non married romantic partners and they immediately started rejecting those advances. I made sure all of their settings were also compatible with the polyamory happening, but (even though they had the premade partner relationships with romance at the start) still they began to reject each other. I then quit and opened back up to the original sim and had the man she was now pregnant by move in and so I brought them into CAS full edit and set their relationship to be romantic, (problem solved right?) but then after one romantic interaction (with no romance points awarded) he began rejecting her advances again even though they have the spouse relationship. Also when my sim moved in the 2nd sim the 3rd sim and her roommate showed up as the welcome wagon and autonomously were flirting with sims 1 and 2 (but no romance points were added/deducted).
