Since the 19th Aug 2025 update, I am not able to load my main household. 
I have checked other household, they are loading fine. 

I do use mods. I removed it and then I updated the game, then put it back. Everything seems okay, I was able to play for about 4 hours in the evening. The next day is when I have the problem.

I did not have a problem with CAS but when I try to load to one particular household it does not work. It finishes the loading music but does not go out of the plumbob loading screen. 

Things I have done to try and fix it but still DIDNT WORK

  • Remove all my mods and reload it 
  • Repairing game
  • Uninstall and reinstall it
  • Delete cache files
  • Delete UserSetting (as seen in LilSimsie's video)
  • I tried to load 1 household, add my main household via cheats, when I try to reload it, still faces the same issue

I really really hope this issue gets fixed, I really love this save file and I don't think I have it in me to start over (dramatic, I know lol).

msnijder30​  Do you get a lastexception file when trying to load the household?  Please delete any you currently have in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4, then trigger the error and look for a new one.  If you find one, you can open it and delete the first line of text, then attach it to a reply here; or copy the text and paste it into a reply.
