After I updated the sims I have been unable to select traits in cas even after removing all my mods and deleting and reinstalling the game

hello! as mentioned in the title, the trait panel is not showing up in game. i literally just downloaded ts4 to my macbook and so do not have any custom content or mods downloaded - my trait panel is just gone. i have tried to repair my game through the ea app but the issue persists. if anyone could help me that would be really appreciated! i miss playing the sims and i don’t have any other households to play as 😭 image linked is just a visual of the problem

CC and Mods are separate from the game installation. Rename the Sims 4 folder in Documents > Electronic Arts then launch the game. Does it still happen?hi, the issue seems to be fixed now. i repaired again and it seemed to sort it. thank you though.
