Unable to select traits in CAS

This is what I'm seeing when in create A sim

I'm playing on a macbook, I posted a picture above, and yes, it looks like it's the same issue! 

I went to start a new game today (without mods, just after updating my game and installing a new pack) and the traits icons in Create A Sim had vanished. None of the usual fixes worked- I even started the game as if new and the problem persisted. 

Traits weren't selectable, rolling for random traits didn't make them reappear, unable to save sim.

I'm playing on a macbook.

No I’m not using any mods or cc, I’ve repaired game, deleted mods folder and cache in case and repaired game again and it still hasn’t fixed the issue, the issue has only occurred due to either the recent update or the new adventure awaits pack.

No mods, macbook.

Had the issue yesterday even after restart, but I don't have it today.  But also the gallery didn't act good yesterday.  

I have the same issue. I play on my macbook. I've had it every time a new pack comes out since Love Struck! Normally a whole lot of faffing moving cc out of my game folder, deleting the localthumbcache file, repairing my game multiple times... (sometimes deleting and reinstalling even!) works eventually.

I loaded the game a couple of days ago and couldn't load into lots (just sent me back to worlds menu) or save my game at all because of error codes. Even had a double up of Gibbi Point, the second world being completely empty. Thankfully sorted that out but now i'm back to the cas trait issue. I currently have mods still but i've spent about 6 hours sorting through, organising, and updating them all... deleting any obsolete ones! Even tried running the game with none at all... still doesn't work.

Can finally build, but can't make a household to actually play the new pack. God forbid the game works!

I really hope someone knows of a solution soon.
