Unable to select traits in CAS

sometimes it works if you reload the game. Other than that there are no known fixes to my knowledge.

I’ve seen a few similar posts about traits not showing up in CAS, and I’m currently experiencing the same issue in The Sims 4. At first I thought this was caused by a broken mod, but I’ve since ruled that out.

So far, I have removed all mods and custom content, deleted the localthumbcache.package, avatarcache.package, onlinethumbnailcache, and the cachestr folder, deleted the entire Sims 4 folder from Electronic Arts, and fully uninstalled and reinstalled the game.

The game works perfectly when I launch only the base game. However, once I reinstall my expansion, game, and stuff packs, the issue returns. Because of this, I don’t believe custom content is the cause.

I would really appreciate hearing if anyone else has experienced this or found a solution that worked for them.

For reference, these are the packs I installed after confirming the base game was working correctly:

Seasons, Enchanted by Nature, Get Together, Business and Hobbies, Lovestruck, Werewolves, Vampires, Life and Death, Island Living, Growing Together, Realm of Magic, Snowy Escape, Cats and Dogs, City Living, Parenthood, Cottage Living, Eco Lifestyle, My Wedding Stories, Spa Day, Tiny Living, Crystal Creations, Backyard Stuff, Movie Night, Cozy Bistro, Comfy Gamer, Kids Room, Paranormal, My First Pet, Laundry Day, Home Chef Hustle.

just got the new royal exspantion pack and there and no traits or aspirations showing in create and sim i have already repaired my game and tried with no mods or custom content in the game and even then they were not showing so i dont know if it is just a bug with the exspantion being bran new or not but its because of mods or my game being broken.

there are no new traits coming with this pack. 

Not sure if this is helpful, but I never had this issue until I recently got Lovestruck at the end of last year and I had most of the EPs and kits and all GPs and SPs at the time.
