Placing/Editing Stairs gives OP Generation Failed Error

can you dupe this on this particular lot only or for the stairs on any lot ?

I've only been able to replicate it on this lot.

If I am trying to build a pool, foundation, terrain, etc. my game freezes when I undo a mistake. If I am placing flooring down individually, the tiles will go everywhere around the lot and will once again freeze the game if I try undo something. If I try exiting out of the game it will not close down, and I have to manually shut off my computer to turn the game off. 

Could you please provide the following information

-  Are you using mods/cc in your game ? Please remove them and test without them if you do.
-  Does this happen on a specific save only or also on a new one ?

I have removed all of my cc/mods and have been using both an old and new saved game and I am still having the same issues. I did not have this issue until I updated my game this morning. When I try placing something it shows "OP generation failed"

Do you remember which stairs you used ?

Do you have any LastException/LastCrash files in Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 ?

- Delete the ones you have
- Trigger the error again
- Check if new ones are created
- If that is the case, please copy/paste the content here. You can open the file with any text editor.

Deleting the file won't fix your issue. Posting the info is meant for troubleshooting. 

When doing anything with stairs in build mode it says OP Generation Failed or does do anything correctly. You cannot remove the siding underneath stairs, place railings, place stairs either on porch or first floor, cannot change the color.

Also Evergreen Harbor is still broken with missing and colliding and glitching assets.

For about a week and a half, I've had issues with my game whenever I try to add stairs to my builds. I can't expand them, delete them, or anything. As soon as the stairs are involved, I can't exit the game and the save screen spins endlessly. I can't use the arrows to go back before the stairs were added either. The game doesn't technically crash or freeze. I can continue to build, but since I can't save, it doesn't matter because as soon as I force the game to shut down, all the process is obviously gone.

I'm swedish and I get a small red error message that says "processgenerering misslyckad" which I can roughly translate to "process generation failed". I've searched for this error message in forums but can't find it, so I'm assuming it's translated to something else.

I do use mods and I've done everything to figure out if I'm dealing with broken mods. I've updated and done the 50/50 method, but there's nothing. I've looked at script call fails and all of that.

What's also odd is it only happens on save files from before issue started. While troubleshooting, I've created a new save file (with all the mods still there and active) and that one doesn't have this issue.

I don't know what to do or how to proceed. I want to be able to use stairs in my builds and I don't want to abandon the save files where the issue appears!

Did you test with no mods/cc at all on that save ?

It does sound like the same issue! On the new test save, I had the same mods and cc's active and the error didn't occur. I've tested different stairs and the same thing happens no matter which ones I try.

I've looked over it even closer and it appears to be something going on at a specific lot on just 1 of my saves now.

I've talked to the creators of my mods and cc's and they've checked my logs and reports. There's nothing on their side and because I get the error message, it must be something with basegame build that doesn't want to work on that lot right now.
